August 27th: Four Months Old

Mia is getting so big, it's hard to believe that she was once a newborn that didn't move around much or make any sounds. She likes to test her volume control when she talks now, and boy does she talk! Daycare says she has a lot to say there too. As you saw in a previous post, she is rolling over now and changing and  dressing her is becoming quite a sport. I swear she knows what she's doing, when she looks at me and giggles while she is turning and wiggling around. I can't get frustrated, she's too darn cute and just cracks me up!

I wish there were more hours in the day, so that I could enjoy more time with her. Our daily routine is pretty well established now. In the morning Rick feeds Mia while I get ready, then I get her ready and we head out the door. In the evening we all get home, play for a very brief time, then it's time for her bath, jammies, bottle, story and then off to bed. She is doing very well at night, if she does wake up in the wee hours I cheat and bring her in bed with us...love those snuggles!
